Nikolas Antoniou è nato a Larnaca, Cipro, nel 1988. Si è laureato nel 2012 presso l'Università della Macedonia occidentale, in Grecia, nel Dipartimento di Belle Arti e Arti Applicate, dove ha lavorato a stretto contatto con i professori (Artisti) Mr.Harris Kondosphyris e Mr. Manolis Polymeri.
I suoi dipinti non derivano da un'idea o da un tema specifico. Evita consapevolmente di concentrarsi su domande specifiche o particolari
risponde e, invece, crea nuove immagini, che generano domande sconosciute. Così senza grandi propositi concettuali, dipinge vaghi
spazi, oggetti che appaiono fuori posto, sia nel tempo che nella dimensione, accanto a oggetti disgiunti, con figure perse in un
ambiente pittorico intenso, ma che alla fine convivono e interagiscono, dando senso alla loro esistenza, raccontano una storia ed esprimono un
sentimento.
